Welcome to the Full Utah Driver Education Course!

At National Driving School, we are committed to providing
comprehensive and flexible driver education that fits your busy lifestyle. Our
program is designed for individuals between the ages of 15 and 18, as Utah law
requires this age group to complete driver education before obtaining a
driver’s license. The course is also available for adults who wish to waive the
90-day waiting period for their license.

we have designed our program to be as flexible as possible—allowing you to
Choose the dates and times that best fit your schedule.

Parent Concerns & Safety Assurance

For many parents, the thought of their teenager driving
alone for the first time—whether to school, the grocery store, or a friend’s
house—can be nerve-wracking. We recognize these concerns and have meticulously
designed our training to prepare students for real-world driving conditions.

  • Our behind-the-wheel sessions include city and freeway driving during rush
hour to ensure that students build the confidence and skills needed to
handle real traffic situations without panic or anxiety.
  • Our instructors are patient, experienced, and trained to provide a calm and
    supportive learning environment.

Course Structure

The course consists of:
30 hours of online instruction—complete this at
your own pace, at any time, from anywhere.
6 behind-the-wheel sessions: Get hands-on driving
experience with expert instructors.

We currently offer the classroom portion exclusively
online, allowing you to complete the theoretical training at your convenience.

Choosing the Right Number of Driving Sessions

You may be wondering how many driving sessions you need.
We offer two flexible options based on your driving experience:

Option 1: Three Sessions
If you’ve already gained significant driving experience with your parents and
feel confident behind the wheel, you may choose to enroll in just three
sessions. Each 2-hour session is shared among three students, allowing for
valuable observation time in addition to driving practice.

 Option 2: Six Sessions

If you have little to no driving experience, we strongly recommend the full six

necessary to become a safe and responsible driver.
